Deye SUN-SMART-CT01 (CT01) and SUN-SMART-TX01 (TX01) form an intelligent metering and wireless communication kit for PV energy storage systems. Designed exclusively for Deye hybrid inverters, they enable accurate bi-directional grid energy metering, wireless data transmission, and optimized self-consumption, solving common challenges such as difficult wiring, inaccurate metering, and delayed control.
1.1 CT01 – Wireless Bi-Directional Smart Meter (Monitoring Core)
Real-time measurement of grid voltage, current, power, frequency, active/reactive energy, with bi-directional metering for grid import and PV export.
Built-in LCD display for local data viewing; DIN-rail mountable for residential and small commercial distribution boards.
Integrated LoRa module for wireless data transmission, eliminating long-distance cabling.
Provides accurate grid-side data to the inverter to support anti-backfeed, self-consumption, and time-of-use charging/discharging strategies.
1.2 TX01 – LoRa Communication Module (Transmission Hub)
Acts as a wireless bridge between CT01 and the inverter, receiving LoRa signals and forwarding metering data.
Plug-and-play design, connecting directly to the inverter’s communication port as an alternative to RS485 wiring.
Supports external USB-C power supply for compatibility with various Deye inverter models.
