The Deye WS-MV5000-2 is not a battery container; it is the 5 MVA power-conversion and medium-voltage interface designed to turn utility-scale DC storage into grid-ready AC power. Four DC inputs accept up to 1500 V and 1404 A each, feeding two 2.5 MVA conversion channels for a combined 5 MVA rated output. The integrated 5,200 kVA oil-immersed transformer steps 690 V up to project-specific medium voltage in the 10–35 kV range, reducing the amount of external MV equipment an EPC must engineer around the PCS. Average conversion efficiency is specified at ≥98.3%, with THD below 3% at rated power and a full leading-to-lagging power-factor control range for grid-support operation. With IP65 protection on the PCS, -30°C to +60°C operation and communications via RS485, Ethernet and CAN, the WS-MV5000-2 is the grid-interface half of Deye's large-scale WS platform and should be listed separately from the 5.016 MWh battery container.
