Before you start — three must-dos

• Prepare PPE and tools:insulated gloves, safety glasses, a multimeter (DC/AC), insulated screwdriver, and a phone for photos.
• Isolate and verify:turn off AC and DC breakers or isolation switches, then measure battery/DC bus voltage with a multimeter and confirm it’s at a safe level before proceeding.
• Document:note device model and serial number, record any LCD fault codes, timestamp, and take photos for support.

3-minute quick checklist (do in order)

1. Visual & indicators:check the enclosure for bulging, leaks, or burn marks; note any persistent alarms on the LCD.
2. Emergency stop & front panel:ensure the Estop is released; if it was pressed, release it and try a restart.
3. Terminals & wiring (power off):inspect AC (L/N/PE) and DC (+/−) terminals for tightness and corrosion; check CAN/RS485 plugs for secure connection.
4. Cooling & fan (power off):clear dust from vents with a soft brush or lowpressure dry air; power on briefly to confirm the fan spins normally.
5. Safe restart:if there’s no smoke, odor, or swelling, power off 30s–2min then reclose breakers and observe whether the fault clears.
6. Save evidence:keep your voltage readings, fault codes, and photos to share with support.

Fast fault pointers

• No display / won’t start:check AC supply, DC supply, and Estop first.
• F58 (BMS communication):inspect communication plugs and cable condition; do not disable BMS protections — contact support if the issue persists.
• F64 (overtemperature):clean vents and improve ventilation; if the fan fails or overheating continues, stop using the unit and call service.
• F55 / F56 (DC voltage high/low):record battery voltage; do not attempt to bypass protections or forcibly discharge the battery — get professional help.
